Westmead Dermatology is the collaboration of clinicians, researchers and teachers dedicated to Dermatology and Skin research in western Sydney (Westmead, NSW, Australia) from:
- The Department of Dermatology at Westmead Hospital
- The Skin Hospital (Skin and Cancer Foundation Australia) at Westmead
- The Department of Dermatology at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead
- The Melanoma and Skin Cancer group of the Centre for Cancer Research at the Westmead Institute for Medical Research
Westmead Dermatology:
- provides public and private dermatology clinics, specialised clinics for common and rare diseases, and surgical clinics (including Mohs surgery and plastic surgery),
- participates in clinical trials, and clinical and translational research projects,
- organises training programs in clinical and research dermatology, and teaching activities for clinicians and general public.
Westmead Dermatology is now part of the Centre for Translational Skin Research (CTSR) at the University of Sydney. CTSR has a facebook and twitter accounts. You can follow our activities and the activities of the broader CTSR in those accounts.
