High Risk Melanoma Clinic

During Westmead Hospital Week, the Department of Dermatology participated in the Melanoma Symposium. We presented our High Risk Melanoma Clinic, and the technologies that we are using to increase our sensitivity and specificity in detecting melanomas, and reduce the number of unnecessary surgeries: Total Body Photography, Sequential Digital Dermoscopy, and, very soon, Reflectance Confocal Microscopy. Some of the data discussed in the presentation was highlighted by the WSLHD news.
