Prof Diona Damian and Prof Gary Halliday have been working for many years on the effects of nicotinamide in skin cancer, from basic research to clinical studies. This publication is one of the latest outcomes of their work, and Westmead Dermatology is honoured to have been part of this study. Bonita, Pablo, Gaya and Nira participated directly in the trial, but all the people at Westmead Dermatology (from Westmead Hospital and from the Skin and Cancer Foundation Australia/The Skin Hospital) were involved at some stage helping in getting the trial to this final outcome.
