My first month as the new dermatology research fellow has been an absolute blast, and it’s been a pleasure to work with such an amazing team! Introductions were kicked off at a gathering at Professor Fernandez-Penas’ house earlier this month, where I was blown away by a scrumptious seafood paella as well as a huge array of multi-cultural contributions by the rest of the members of the department.
Following on with the news relayed in our previous post, we had the opportunity to increase our confocal skills with involvement in the confocal clinics run by Dr Pascale Guitera at the Melanoma Institute at the Poche Centre in North Sydney. We look forward to using this new knowledge for future novel research!
